How to become an RSI member:
(i) Submit an application to the RSI director [link
to PDF application].
(ii) Provide RSI with a link to your up-to-date cv and current
web page.
How to submit an RSI-affiliated proposal:
(i) On the MTU transmittal form list your affiliation as "Dpt/RSI"
(e.g. Geo/RSI)
(ii) Send an email to the RSI director, copied to Research Services,
giving the proposal title and Co-PIs and indicating that it will
be an RSI proposal.
Membership Benefits:
RSI members have access to Institute resources.
Members with external grant awards with overhead receive an additional
6% cost recovery to their incentive accounts.
Membership Responsibilities:
Members participate actively in RSI-related research and/or graduate
and undergraduate education. All members are responsible for maintaining
a current curriculum vita on-line with links to and from the RSI
web site. Members from each department select a departmental representative
to the RSI advisory board.
